About Goju Ryu Karate Do

Training in Goju ryu Karate-do can be for people of all ages and sizes, from the age of around 5 or 6 years of age to senior citezens. Regular excercise is very beneficial for the body at least 3 times a week and our club aims to put in a lot of fun and enjoyable training that everyone can enjoy, from our warm up to our Kata and from our Circuit training to our warm down we aim to make every lesson enjoyable for everyone because no one's going to want to learn if they cant have fun in the process.

However there is a serious side to our art and students will learn to feel more confident and learn a good sense of discipline from attending karate after just a few weeks, Sensei Simon Golland will ensure that you train in a safe and controlled environment. Karate training helps children gain more confidence, co-ordination and direction. Training teaches them to be respectful to others.

Sensei Simon Golland is first aid trained and recieves regular training from the chief instructor at the head dojo in London. Senior Shodan's regularly help teach the class and also recieve quality training from our chief instructor.We are affilliated to the OTGKA and IOGKF under Higaonna Sensei. Our association has 3 other clubs in the City.
