Tips on training and nutrition
Before a training session make sure you've had a good meal about 2 hours before the session. This will give your stomach lots of time to start the process of digesting your food. During about the first 3 hours of consuming your meal your stomach starts to burn that food into energy so its accessible to you in your training session, try it and you should feel more energetic.
During the day before a training session you should try and drink plenty of water. During the training your body will lose plenty of water due to sweat. As you may know our bodies are mostly made up of water and so we need to make sure there is plenty spare to use for training to avoid dehydration.
Always be sure to eat a good breakfast. You may think that if you are trying to lose weight that this will help, when in fact its the opposite. Breakfast actually speeds up your metabolic rate (how much Food you can burn) and promotes your bodies ability to gather more energy for the day.
During Training make sure that when you are given a break you have a drink of water or liquid. While you train you will lose plenty of water, so it is important to have a little during a break. Remember not to drink too much as this will cause that feeling in your side known as the stitch.
After a training session you should always eat as soon as possible and take on plenty of liquids, eating around 30 minutes after training is ideal and will help you recover faster.
